Humans are not supirior to animals!?

so im hard cor atheist and i eat meat im no vegan, but i just discovered today from one of my good christian friends that apparently animals have no souls and we are the superior race? that's ****** up! they were here first! now again im no hippie i just never thought Cristian's thought that? i know humans are not superior to animals and i dont believe in heaven and i don't believe in god but i still believe in souls, animals were hear first and im pissed that we think that they are vermin in our city's, it was theirs first. i also believe though that its ok to eat whats necessary to survive. he went into detail about how they don't know right from wrong and how we have a Choice in what we eat and when we mate but they don't there just programed. i beg to differ! they have choices and ive seen many animals that know right from wrong! animals don't kill each other for sport or because one believes in a different got, or insulted there country. im a little outraged at that though wtf? anyways i would like to hear the opinion of every one. no mater what your religion is or what your age or race, can you state your religion though in your post? thanks and i was just wondering if there was anyone else that thinks the way i do, i thought everyone thought the way i did until 10 minutes ago.
