Is 1914 for real? And how could it possibly be when the original date was changed?

Also, it is MAN'S own calculations that is used..Nowhere in the bible does it say straight out that this happend in 1914 in plain black and white. And wasn't the Original date "backed up with scriptural evidence" also? Just wondering
